Travels in Contracresto

Work continues apace on my debut album set to be recorded in the confines of the boat. The provisional working title of the album is Travels in Contracresto and will be split into three short stories comprising of 6 tracks each.

Chapter one: The Rise and Fall Of Pigee Magoo
Chapter two: The courage of El Salavador
Chapter three: The fabulous world of Lady Klunkerfunk

Many other super heroes, villains and figures of legend keep popping into my brain and it is difficult to keep track of all of them and give them the credence they deserve. Consequently a second album is already brewing called The Book Of Wallingdeep and more will be revealed in good time.

With such madness going on in my head my pretty much all of the time staying wedded to earthly moments is becoming increasingly difficult. I sometimes feel like my face is like the surface of the ocean with a whole lot of wriggly shit going on just underneath the eyes of everyone else.

I must find an outlet for all of this so for alot of time now i've been funnelling it out of my guitar but is this enough? I feel seized with the urge to quit my job and devote myself to the worlds of Contracresto and Wallingdeep, to learn how to paint and build a crazy mythology, language and imagery around these fantastical nether worlds.

Luckily I work in a Mail Order department for an art gallery so reality is always ever present. Thank god for Christmas cards otherwise you wouldn't see me - id be like a speck on the horizon, a needle in a haystack, a raindrop in a bad assed burping cloud or a dissolving fungus in a hippies tea.

Just for the record, Wallingdeep is not an album, it is a set of children's books. You can forget that idea Mr T....
